I am looking for a good book about the Fender Precision bass. Which one would you recommend as all the books I've seen. (except the slab precision book) cater for all Fender basses.
I am drawn to the How the Fender bass changed the world.

Hi Shawn!
I bought a copy of 'The Fender Bass An Illustrated History'
http://www.amazon.com/Fender-Bass-Illustrated-History/dp/0634026402/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1451958224&sr=1-1&keywords=the+fender+bass

I like it well enough. Excellent Photography is why I chose it over 'How The Fender Bass Changed The World'.

If Steve and Dave (affprod and brotherdave) would finish writing up Steve's collection, it would be the definitive book on all Fender electric bass guitars from the first Precision in 1951 until 2000 (I think). He's had his collection professionally photographed. Now we're just waiting on the book. Oh Steve!

I strongly recommend Klaus Blasquiz's best-seller!

+1 for 'The Fender Bass An Illustrated History'

It's a great book and I refer back to it often.

Those two books cover it all. I have the Klaus B book also, but it has much less information in it.

I enjoyed reading both books though the Precision basses 1951-1954 was my favorite. I will look for a copy of The Fender Bass, and How the Fender bass changed the world.
