I'm new to this board. I was wondering if anyone out there knows what a jazzmaster, made on Jan 4th, 1963, "B" neck, is worth.

If it is all original, and 100% legit, it is worth several thousand dollars. Probably close to $4-5,000.

Pre-1964 Jazzmasters are the most sought-after. And there aren't many of them.

Of course, it still depends on a lot of things. Condition, color, as I said original parts and finish, etc. And like anything else, it also depends on finding someone willing to pay that much. But it doesn't seem too difficult these days.

btw, your JM wasn't made on January 4. The first number on the neck heel is just a code, not a date.
