I have one and strongly appreciate the tone it puts out. I'm ready to pull it out again tonight. I changed the strings a few days ago. Something about the ash body and the rosewood on this 1978 Mustang that speaks very sweetly. Since I got this when I was far younger I did not baby it back then, the way I started with my other guitars years later. This thing is road worn but, it has some major mojo. Anyone else have an ash bodied Mustang?

Nice guitar...and nicely road worn...the right way! The neck looks like it should play like butter!

Thanks guys! Believe it or not, once it was new and shiny! I run EB 8s on it. From the factory it came with 9s. A good friend back then who worked on the line set it up for me with 8s and, he filed the frets lower. This is an easy playing good sounding guitar.
