I have just about every kind of electric I would want but, I decided that I really enjoy the sound of a Standard Stratocaster with Texas Specials. I wish I would have picked up one of the Satin series Strats with the Texas Specials. Those sounded outstanding. I was too busy putting money into Marshall amps and some cool pedals. Now they are gone. I like the sound of those Texas Specials on a Strat. I have a great Deluxe with an incredible neck but, I will get a Standard in the future.

Ain't THAT the truth.
I have almost gotten to the point that I don't even look at other (electric) guitars, when looking to buy.

I have an American Strat, a Mexican Strat, a Korean Strat copy, and a Chinese Squire Bullet Strat---AND I just ordered another Mexican Strat.

I had an MIM Telecaster...couldn't find any love for it. Traded it for a 1999 Hot Rod DeVille 4x10.
I had an Indonesian Squire Telecaster that I actually liked for a while, put a Bigsby bridge/tail piece on it, and modified the heck out of that thing...then lost interest in it, and traded it recently for a DG-14S twelve string acoustic.
I got REAL crazy and bought an inexpensive Epiphone Les Paul, and completely hated it---sold it at a loss. Can't have any switches up top, because it's right where I play (close to the neck).

I have found throughout the years that when it comes to electrics; I am straight up Stratocaster.

I have only played one Mustang in my life and that was years ago, and have never played a Jaguar...so I can't necessarily rule those out at this point...but I don't ever find myself looking at them when I have GAS.

I had a beautiful white Korean Squier Stratocaster I picked up in a pawn shop back in the mid 90s. It needed some TLC, which it got from me. I never should have sold it!
