I'm looking to buy a new bridge for my Squier Jaguar.

More sustain would be good and hopefully better intonation
The tune o matic and mustang bridges seem pretty similar in price so I was wondering if anyone knows if one is better value for money or sounds better or anything

thanks

The Mustang bridge is a straight swap, intonation is easily set up. i also wrapped some tape around the bridge posts before assembly just for extra stability. You may want to remove the neck and shim the base of the neck pocket just to move the neck up a few millimeters. And also put on a set of 11s which help improve the feel and tension. (The 11s will feel like 9s on a regular guitar) every little bit helps. I also put an extra string tree between the D & G string.

The tune o matic requires more work as the posts may or may not line up also the fretboard radius is different, so the saddles will need working on.
