Hello, I am new here to the forum but I have been a Fender guitar player . . . I still have my first guitar of which I am the original owner. It is a 1962 Jaguar.
Anyway it is a SUNBURST and I am fixing it up here in 2008. While doing so I took some FENDER HEAVY WHITE PERLOID picks and used vintage lacquers to create . . FENDER SUNBURST PICKS!

Hello J4vice,

These picks you've crafted
are they for display or use.
Seems like the paint may
rapidly be strummed off.

Looking forward for Photos.

Cheers.

are you making these to order or just
for your self.

They take a while to make and a day to dry. They look beautiful, classy and most of all they look like my Jag.

They are each slightly different because they are made one at a time.

Hello J4vice,

You picks turned out pretty cool.

They remind me of the Holloween
treat "candy corn"

Cheers.

Definitely Corn Candy. I take the pick and hold up and then spray the lacquer. My thumb acts as a block just like putting a 'burst' paint job on a Strat. The ends come out white.

It's like a tie dye pick! Good work. I hope they aren't sticky from the treatment. Although that may help with grip...

I like that Halloween Candy Corn Guitar Picks.
Make 'em out of really candy and you'd have something!

You can play guitar with a Dorito, you know.

Hello, In 1962 my father bought me a 1962 Fender Jaguar with a Sunbusrt finish. Three years ago I pulled that guitar out of a warehouse it's been in for decades. I bought STEINWAY, FENDER and STEWMAC lacquers to re-finish the Jaguar. But, when I saw how cool it looked all relic'd from touring the world for 17 years I decided just to 'PLEDGE' it. I applied the lacquers to FENDER gui†ars picks and ... voila! I created SUNBURST guitar picks. I took them to Fender and G&L guitars in 2009 but ... nothing yet.
Here is my 62 Jag and seven of my picks created 08/17/201 ...
