Hello Guys! im new in this forum.
Sorry for my bad english :)
Im worry that maybe someone had fraud me :(
I write here because i need one preciouse advise: i've baught, on Ebay, one Fender Jaguar american vintage reissue 62(thin skin laquer series)
The Thin skin series means that in the guitar not have so much paint, to improve the quality of the sound.
Well, i looked to the serial code inside the guitar, and i'm get really confused beacause the serial codes seems strange... maybe because is a limited edition?
Im worry, i hope the guitar is not a fraud, and still really made in U.S.A
Here you have the pics:

The Neck:

What does the serial number start with? Those "thin skin" models could have a couple of different prefixes that are not the typical "V" of other American Vintage models.

I would contact Fender with the serial number - you can email them at consumerrelations@fender.com.

Thank for the answer! I will contact Fender as soon as possible!
The serial number is this: https://scontent-a-fra.xx.fbcdn.net/hph ... e=546B7452

so is different from the neck and the body, that is the reason i think is something of wrong...

Okay - I see what you are asking now. The number stamped on the body and the number on the sticker on the neck are Fender's part number for the individual part, not the serial number of the guitar, so they don't match up. The serial number is the number on the neck plate that starts with the "LE" on these.
