There might be a bit of a language barrier here. Heartfield instruments were kind of a joint design venture between FujiGen (Fender Japan's manufacturer at the time) and Fender. They were manufactured by FujiGen along side other Fender Japan models and the other brands that FujiGen built (Ibanez, Greco, Roland, etc.). They had a lot of other, really interesting/odd models at first, then settled into these Jackson/Ibanez style Talons.

If I'm remembering correctly the Talon models continued under the Fender name for about a year after Fender folded the Heartfield venture. Plus there was a 1992 version of the HM Strat that looked a lot like the Talon models but the body was more Stratty/less angular than the Talon.

That was definitely an interesting time period for Fender.

The bigger question for me would be how did the headstock catch fire.

That's part of the true craftsman's artistry when creating a "relic".

Well if they were going for a Hendrix tribute it would have been more authentic to burn the body. Now the headstock cigarette burn always adds 10-15% value but this one is an example of overkill. But in general a guitar catching on fire for any reason is not considered normal wear and tear nor does it take much artistry to set something on fire.

I guess like the recent post about the guy selling the Les Paul that was destroyed by lightning. He found out quickly that it was worth less and did not quite have the collectability as the mailbox that was destroyed by a meteorite. Now if I can only relic a Strat with a meteorite we might be onto something

Cigarette?

That looks more like a big honkin' cigar! A Churchill or a Cohiba I should think. Perhaps several of each.
