Bought this guitar 2 days ago...brand new straight out of the box.

Factory setup...awesome guitar...love the smooth neck but I am having tuning issues.

Whenever I use the whammy bar the strings (most notably the Low E and A string) tend to pull either sharp or flat (quite a lot). The guitar needs to be constantly tuned back to proper pitch using the fine tuners.

The new strings have been pulled, stretched and heavily played so I know that's not the problem.

Any ideas? This is so frustrating  :x especially the guitar being new.

Thanks

Sounds like the bridge is floating? Those guitars should be set flat :)

He also posted this on Strat-Talk; I think someone there provided the answer to him.

Lots of F/R experience here. I've experienced the very same thing b4...there are so many variables that could cause that, from not properly intonated, to spring position, to claw set too far or too close, etc, etc...

I'd say bring it to an "experienced" F/R setup guy but I'd also try lowering the studs to make sure it's completely flat and not floating even the slightest...yeah you gotta get it looked at if your not familiar with troubleshooting these yourself...takes some time to learn the tricks..but YouTube has a lot of tutorial videos on F/R setup...best of luck
