For those who crave for a Jim Root signature Jazzmaster, Fender released this beautiful Artist series model which is based on Slipknot guitar slinger's menacing axe.

Yeah, that one caught my eye, as well. Understated and stark, yet menacing as hell...

Unlike the Strat/Tele pair this Jazzmaster is not available in Flat White with a maple fingerboard.

I really like this one, apart from the jumbo frets.
I trust it's American made?

And will there be a red model?

Judging the easygliding string guide, yes this guitar is MIA.

Bear in mind that Jim's own Jazzmasters are actually different than the artist signature model Fender offers: round string guide, chrome-foiled spaghetti headstock logo, a larger choice of colours and the availability of both ebony and maple for the fretboard.

It's the least-Jazzmastery Jazzmaster ever. They stripped away all of the coolness.

Yes, and that's what's so cool about it!
