Hey...

Does anyone else out there STILL play DeArmond guitars? I still have my

M- series, singel cutaway, single humbucker guitar with the Guild Polara-style parallelogram tailpiece.

I replaced the tone knob with a Torres Engineering Varitone switch and replaced the humbucke with a Duncan Performer Detonator pickup.

Sick, but tasty.

I own a transparent orange M77-T and I absolutely love it.It's a pleasure to play, sounds amazing, looks fantastic and is beautifully made. Didn't brake the bank, either. I really do miss that brand.

I paid $99 for mine. Love it. I had the same one in transparent red...*groan* but it's gone.

The one model I was always on the lookout for but could never get a hold of was the DeArmond Jetstar, the one that was essentially a Guild Thunderbird clone. Oh, the damage I could have done with that one!!!

hey y'all,
i've got this "BEAUTIFUL" M-65C, that has a sunburst body and mother of pearl inlaid neck. If i can figure out how to post a picture of it, I will do that. I have owned a lot of guitar's and this one is the Bomb. It has the smoothist action and absolute best sound of all the guitar's that I've tried.
I've played A lot of gigs with this axe and it has never failed to amaze me and the crowds.

Those really were some nice guitars. It's too bad they discontinued them.

I just picked up a S-67, Seven string. Someone tossed a Seymour Duncan Invader 7 in the bridge. I like it, it's not a bad guitar at all.
