Does anyone know?
This is the Squier J Mascis Jazzmaster, if that makes a difference.

Given that the SG has a backwards tilted neck, short headstock and short horns, and the Jazzmaster having a long headstock, one long horn and offset body, I'd have to say it's highly doubful.

If it's a "generic" case, maybe. But even then, the SG and Jazzmaster as so different that it would have to be a pretty roomy case.

Thanks.
I'll be picking up an Epi Nighthawk, and I am getting a case for it.
I don't have one for my JM, and it doesnt fit in a regular case, so i was hoping
this one would serve double duty. I guess I'll stick with the gig bag for a bit.

My Jazzmaster came in a bass case (Owner threw away original 38 years ago) generic a good fit just longer than usual. Nobody will steal a bass!

Indeed you are correct a bass is as likely to be "Grabbed" as anything. I know a guy had his 1961 Les Paul Custom stolen 3 times the third time he never got it back. And a few stories from friends. Never was victim of instrument. Just rifling through my car one time got a few nice small things like expensive
knife. We always have a band member watching if we go out for a "Safety Meeting"
