Hi! I have a Fender CD150S-12 which I can find no information about anywhere. In appearance it is very similar to the CD160E 12 string, sans electronics. It has a solid spruce top, gold tuners, albalone name on headstock, gloss body satin neck, etc.

Made in China.

Any idea as to why it seems to be non-existent?

Over a hundred views, but no ideas? There is a CD140 and a CD160...
No CD150? Yet that's what I have.

OK I got info supplied me by a customer rep at Fender. The CD150s-12 was introduced Jan 2006, and discontinued. So, it is an actual model number.

Gold Silkscreen Logo,
Multi-ABS Inlays on Soundhole and Body Edge

Introduced: 1/2006
Discontinued

Mine is made in China, however, and has abalone on headstock and around sound hole. Furthermore, the person who sold it to me told me he was told it was made around 1997! So I still am not sure...but pretty much.

I received an interesting email from someone who said they had a Japan Strat that also had a model number for which he can locate no info, even though he says it is the best sounding guitar he's played.

Anyway... there it is.

Thanks.

They have only made a few of them back in the 60's and they have been long forgotten, Jimmy page had one
