No, but if there are new jaguars, i can't wait, since they have one of the coolest looking bodies and have a pretty good sound. i haven't had the opportunity of playing on one though.

P.S. The sunburst finish is awesome on any guitar, except the jaguar is one that doesnt look as good with it.

I've always liked the look of the Jaguar and now it might have a sound closer to what I want and less surf. (nothing wrong with surf just doesn't work in my favor)

If I end up getting one it will probably be the Classic Player Jaguar HH Oly white. I do agree that sunburst just doesn't work on the Jaguar. (don't like it on most other guitars either) Time will tell.

I opened up a topic/string on this Jazzmaster two days ago:

http://www.fender.com/community/forums/ ... php?t=8698

I'd like to see what they're like. I just checked out the Fender Jazzmaster products list here on Fender.com and saw a listing under 'Special', but I don't know if it is a final listing. It seems they list a LOT more colors than the ads in MF or anywhere else I've seen (look under pickguard colors), plus they give specs on the bridge as a 'vintage' unit rather than the 'Adjust-O-Matic' bridge the Jazzmaster Special is supposed to have. And the specs say it has a hardshell case, but everything I've seen elsewhere seems to indicate it comes with a gigbag only. Correct me if I'm wrong!

Anyway, I'd like to get my hands on one!

I think they mixed it up with the American vintage specs cause the Classic Player Jaguar is like that as well more colors and other such things that you can easily see in the picture to not be true.

Thanks for the info, I think you're right-It's frustrating when the Fender site doesn't jive with the MF or the Elderly Instruments site regards specs. I guess that these guitars are REALLY new models.

I prefer guitars with a hardtail (or in that case, NO tremolo) or locking tremolo system. Most of the other vibrola systems I've tried out just knocked me out of tune (out of all the other guitars I've played.

I don;t think the Fender specs are for the new models, yet - looks like they used the Std. model specs. But the MF site has the specs at what look to be logically correct. Kind of a shame you can only get the hummer Jag in Oly White.

I am looking to buy the Jaguar HH. I am stoked because i love jaguars and the body style and i really like humbuckers. i also love the jag/jazz tremlo. i am kinda pissed off that it only comes in white though. i think that it should come in at least ice blue metallic. (my favorite). I am going to replace the bridge pickup with a Gibson Dirty Fingers pickup (really high output). i am also gonna put locking tuners on it and maybe do homemade mods like a volume and tone control for each PU.
