Original fake, definitely.

Fender has never produced or sold a "Tratocaster".

I could be wrong, but even the Fender logo seems off. Was it one of those wonderful "Fenders" that they sell on some place like China Bazaar, or whatever they called it. You know, $100, but $400 to ship. The best one I saw was the Musicman Stingray with the Fender logo on it. At least Leo was initially involved with Musicman, so I suppose they weren't too far off. :P

A tratocaster, totally a Mexican royal screw up. The peg head looks like a new guitar but the machines and fret board look worn. Likely a rebuild or a vain mess. I wouldn't bother with that guitar at all.

Actually it is a very rare beast. Only one or two of these " Tratocasters" were ever produced . They are reknown for there $@!&#* sound and playability , crap action , noisy pots and are easily distinguishable from your run of the mill Fenders by the offset tuning peg assembly as shown here

You can rest assured many minutes went into the making of this beast (7 actually) and only parts that were lying around were used

Think they did a Elecaster version too and a Ustang
