What a trip when I came to the forum to see someone else swooped on a Mustang yesterday! Here's my $850.00 66 Mustang with OHSC and all her original parts! What do you guys think? I wiped her down and set her up and she screams with Power Slinky's and no buzzes yet! I still think I can go a little lower with the action.

Thanks everyone. I gues it sat in a garage for 20 years! It came to me just filthy. I put four or five hours into her. She's full of dings and they're discolored. But, not much through to the wood. I think it was someones Christmas present as all the dates vary between june and november of 66. I blew out the pots and switches but I think I need to spray the switchs as the have some dead spots and the bridge switch only works in one position. The only thing I find odd is the neck is tilted in on the bass side from the factory. blues bondsman, Is yours set up that way?

Look at the picture takin' from the bass side and there is about 3/32 between the fretboard and the top of the body and on the treble side picture there is almost 3/16. I find it odd. The frets are also compensated for the tilt in the neck. It gets that high E down really low.
