I currently play a Fender MIM Standard Strat and I want to try a hollow or semi-hollow guitar. I want a guitar with a good sound made with quality materials. Im looking to get it used under $500. Suggestions?

I'm a huge Epiphone fan when it comes to these things. Sheratons and casinos are awesome if that's what you want..

It would help to know what type of music you play, and what guitar you would have if money wasn't an issue.

an exellent used full hollow in your pricerange would be the DeArmond(by Guild/Fender) X155.
the 1st year models are beyond sweet and the DeArmond USA pickups produce beauticul cleans that Geo.Benson would be proud of.
subsquent year production models saw an increasing slip in overall quality & after about 3 yrs they were discontinued.
