Where do you stand on getting two guitars of the same name, but different years? Because there is a Toronado at my local shop that is much like the one I have set as my Icon that I want. But I have been told I'd be stupid to but it because guitars of the same name ofter sound the same. Is this true or should I but it?

Try it out. Two of the same model guitars can have very different tones!
If they have too similar a sound or character I wouldn't bother (unless you REALLY want a backup).
If it plays as well or better than the one you have and seems to have it's own distinct voice that you like... go for it! There's nothing at all wrong with having multiples of the same guitar. How many members here have an entire fleet of Strats?

Go for it if you really want it. It doesn't matter what others think. They are yours, not theirs.

Right now I play a Toronado GT HH like this one.

I'm thinking about getting this one, though I'm not sure about the exact model, anyone know it?

I have one that is similar to that one that is orange. I'm a huge Toronado fan.

The first Tornado you displayed a pic of, there's a Tornado like that in the local music shop (nearest to me) with the same stripe, but its more of a champagne color and the stripe is black. Cool guitar though!
