If it were mine, which unfortunately it's not, I would for sure pair that neck with white. The tint in that neck is so heavy, white would just make it pop in the most beautiful ways.

I just posted a pic on my build thread... the tinty neck fits so nice and snug in the red body I think it's found a mate. Also, the red body is really aged/dark... WAY more than the photos. The red/tinty combo looks like they could have come from the same guitar with regard to aging. The plan os to do the same rout to the red body with the toggle instead of the sliders using another creme pearl guard. The only difference will be the pickups really... A Dimarzio Super Distortion S for the bridge and a Dimarzio Fast Track in the neck... with black covers. It'll look close to vintage but be a little screamer

Yay or nay?

Not as if it's my guitar or anything...

I'm thinking I'll send it off for a burst and then I'll spray over... Only problem is that the guy does amazing work and I'll be crying my eyes out as I cover up the most perfect target burst the world has ever seen.

But, this way I get to try new things... I'll have a minty white guitar for a while, until I have a beat to hell sunburst. Yay!

Of course, I may just keep the burst, or not get a burst at all and go straight up white or otm or greened lpb...

Matching headstock?

I believe I need a jag for each day of the year.

Better to get yourself signed up for a 12-step program that provides demonstrably-effective therapy for OCD.

From where did that 12 string neck come from? I can't blame you for wanting a screaming putty tat ..... I've got one too. But a 12er Jag would be damned cool. I wonder what it sounds like. I have seen some Fender electric 12er's maybe even a Jag or two with that odd bit of machine head pointing at the floor.

Nice project, looking forward to seeing the finished product.

P.S. What kind of pills :D

Dad made it, with an old tele neck. Let me know if you want, perhaps we can work something out.
