After the Modern Player Coronados and Starcasters, now we need a MP Electric XII!!!

I'd prefer a Blacktop XII over the Modern Player you're talking about.

With its dual high-output Jazzmaster humbuckers and skirted amp knobs this guitar caters for serious rockers seeking for that 12-string chime and jangle.

Now that is an electric 12 I'd love to have.

I'm all for a 12 string electric, just not a mp Chinese one.

I like the idea of a pawnshop Venus XII though :)

After reading the article about the mighty Electric XII and the other electric 12 stringers I hoped for a reissue, or a Pawn Shop in a short time...

Come on Fender!

I would rather expect Fender 50-Anniversary Electric XII reissue next year. :)

Usually that would make a lot of sense. Like others, I would prefer my 12-string now rather than later, but Fender is big on anniversaries. However, some sources have the Bass VI introduced as early as 1961.

I wish we Forumites could get more advanced notice of new products so we don't spend our money on competitors' products simply because we didn't know what Fender is planning. That inexpensive Dean Boca electric 12 is whispering to me, but I'd really rather have a Fender.
