I am thinking about purchasing a Jaguar HH, but I want to know how they play. I'm currently playing a Toronado so If anyone has expierience with both and can compare the two, that would be really great.[/list]

I just bought one. I love it. I used to have a 2001 Gibson SG Classic and this guitar is way more comfortable to play. The neck is perfect in my hands and I feel like this guitar was custom made for me.

I am sorry if I can't be more quantifiable in terms of actual numbers, but all i know is if you go to a store and play one, you may just fall in love.

I would also reccomend the Jaguar HH it plays great in my opinion and the swtiches give you some cool tonal options and add some cool features. Physically the Jag looks sweet and has a vintage feel to it. The neck is very playable and smooth to play on. I would definately reccomend this guitar, but i do not have experience with a tornado so i am sorry for not being able to compare.

I've heard Jaguars have a bit of a twangy sound naturally unless you switch out the pickups.

This is usually where I look up guitar reviews. Its partially how I decided to get a Strat.

The Jaguar HH and Jaguar have different pickups. The HH has humbuckers and sound much fuller.

I have both and love 'em. The necks are identical so it own't be much of a change from your Toronado. The sounds you can get are a good variety of jazz and sweet clear chords. I run it thru a Pod and can get some serious ear damaging power on a few of the amp settings. Doesn't have quite the bottom of the Black Dove P-90's but it can scream if that's what your looking for. Otherwise it is a very sharp looking and playing addition to your arsenal. BTW- Good choice on the Toronado .

I think you should check out the Jaguar special HH. More versitile and it's supposed to have little tweaks like a better angle in the neck pocket (pre-built in shim). Plus the tremelo is still intact w/ the adjust-o-matic bridge. Basicly a modded up vintage Jaguar!
