i just want to ask some questions about squier. because i've been a fender fan ever since i was a little kid. and now i am 20 years old. i owned a fender strat floyd rose 2 with trem system, japan made ( it was my dad's actually and he just gave it to me. ) he bought it way back 1993 and it was in my possesion for about a year. the guitar lasted for like 20 years ( as age as me ) it would have lasted for more than a decade but my dad was not able to take a good care of it. sadly, i gave up using the guitar because the frets became very thin and stuff. then i decided to have a brand new guitar. so i went looking for a cheaper one with a good specs, then i found the Squier Vintage Modified telecaster. it caught my eye. i rushed into the guitar store and bought it. and now i have it. im so happy with it, it sounds very good. i really like it. i really dont know much about fender but what i do know is that they are very sturdy and durable. i want to know if the squier has thesame quality. and i found out that this VM tele was made in indonesia, i was hesitant, but i bought it anyway because its cheap but its pretty awesome. then the other day, my guitar fell on the ground face down ( luckily it was inside its soft case ) then the next day, my 3 year old niece sat in the neck ( near the body ) of my tele. i am a bit worried. because i want this guitar to last more than the strat i owned.

the reason why i asked is because i am concerned about the durability of the guitar. SPECIALLY its neck and its made in indonesia ( i've read not so good feedbacks about fenders that are made in china and indonesia ). because im planning to play this in a concert someday and i move around a lot, i might accidentally bang it or what. and im not sure when if im planning to buy another guitar. please tell me all you know about squier because i think they are pretty different in terms of quality.

sorry for the long post. thanks

Squier guitars are very good for the money. They are on the lower end of the Fender price and quality spectrum. You get what you pay for. No guitar is going to stand up to abuse regardless of it's cost.
