Hello fender-nauts.
My name is Federico, I'm from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Some time ago, I bought a Fender Jaguar Rissue 1966 body made in Japan, Lake Placid Blue. Like This:

Eventually I went shopping the other parts: Mics, pickguard, tremolo... But I could never get the neck!!
That's when I thought of buying another neck of Fender Jaguar (1962 or 1965)
But I do not know if these necks can fit on my rissue 1966 body..

I want to ask if you know which fender jaguar necks can work in my body made in japan 1966 RI?

I hope you understand what I have written. My English is not quite good. Sorry about that

Thanks!!
Federico. -

Any short-scale Fender neck intended for a standard Jaguar should fit your body with only minimal problems at most. In the case of a Stratocaster, I've had excellent results installing a Mexican neck on a Japanese-made body and vice versa.

Are you sure?
I leave the description of a neck and another 1962 Reissue 1965 Reissue:

1962: USA 62 Reissue Jaguar Neck & Tuners-Rosewood-"C" Shape-7.25 "Radius-21 Vintage Frets-24" Scale Length-1.650 "Width at Nut (41mm) - Nitrocellulose Finish

1965: USA 65 Reissue Fender Jaguar Neck & Tuners-Rosewood-"C" Shape-7.25 "Radius-22 Vintage Frets-24" Scale Length (61 mm) - 1.650 "Width at Nut (41mm) - Nitrocellulose Finish-White Binding

I do not understand, but I realize that they are not completely equal.
What do you think?
Thank you very much!

I think in the case of the description for the '62 neck, it's a typo. AFAIK, all vintage Jaguars (and re-issues of same) feature 22 frets.

I don't think you'll have a problem fitting any authentic Fender Jaguar neck to your body.

All you have to do is measure. And if you're buying from ebay yo should be able to ask for the pocket dimensions from the seller to see if they'd match up, if you want to be double sure. Most likely if you're buying a any jaguar neck by Fender it should fit, they don't really change up their recipes very much. Just make sure its a jaguar neck or a 24'' scale neck.

Personally, I would go with the bound neck... but either should fit. That is the great thing about Fenders. The parts are so interchangeable!
