OK....we can skip the bolt-on neck, but I'd sure like to see a Coronado Reissue. I have fond memories of my '68 red Coronado. And the Dot
just doesn't do it for me.

I agree, Fender should start to reissue some of their earlier models like the coronado and the wildwood series....... they do it with their amps, why not guitars

I agree....I'd love to see a red Coronado II, with gold metallic pickguard.
That was a great loking guitar!

I sure would. Courtney Taylor of The Dandy Warhols plays a Coronado II.

I agree....I'd sure like to see oneThere's nothin gin the market between
an Epiphone Dot and a 335. I'd like a semi-hollow body and my '67 Coronado was a beautiful guitar. Wish I still had it. Gold pickguard and all.
Well, let's wait and see if Fender addresses that segment. I suppose since Gretsch fell under the Fender family of brands, they feel they have that market covered. But the only Gretsch semi-hollow I was interested in, was discontinued. It was a nice, singe cut-away orange-finished "Historic" model that fell in well under a grand, And now, there're only full-hollow designs in the realm of reasonable affordability, so they don't offer what I'm after. I'll check out the guitar shows to see what else might be out there. Looks like Gretsch is chasing the same high-dollar stuff Gibson is.
Well...I'll keep my fingers crossed for a Coronado. Maybe Fender could reissue the DeArmond Starfire. That would fit the bill, in a pinch.

An RI Coronado would be fine, buy I'd still like to see another RI Esprit. I think both the original and the reissue suffered from bad timing and poor efforts.

they should, Fender should make it a limited series in Japan, but make it a limited time thing, like one year and they're gone, and if the public likes it then they should re-issue it and keep building them
