Does anyone had this problem? Three different spots of paint, from three different places went away from the body. The spots are big like the diameter of a finger.

I bought the guitar 2 months ago. No bumps at all. I stored it in the case.

It's a really nice guitar, but Fender is saying that it's not a manufacturing problem!!!!!!

Anyone?

I have one. Had it since the summer. No finish issues whatsoever. Can believe Fender won't even entertain the notion of warranty. What did they say exactly?

I'm dealing through an authorized dealer. So not a lot of informations. They said that it's not part of the warranty.

The dealer will try to speak again with Fender because it is so obvious that the paint is peeling off easily....

I would contact Fender customer service directly if I were you. Send them your S/N and some pictures. They may authorize the return of the guitar to a dealer and either fix it or get you a new one.

Unless it is a obvious manufacturing defect, they will fall back on the "Limitations and Exclusions" portion of the warranty...

Quote:
The following items are not covered by this warranty.
1. Fret wear, saddle wear, nut wear, strings and batteries.
2. Setups, adjustments or routine maintenance of any kind.
3. Damage to finishes or cracks, splitting, or warpage of wood due to changes in temperature or humidity, exposure to or contact with sun, fire, moisture, body salts and acids of perspiration, guitar straps, guitar stands/hangers made from vinyl, plastic, rubber or other synthetic materials, any other chemicals or non-Fender-approved polishes.

That covers just about everything except dirty primer coat.

FWIW, I have had mine since April with no issues.

+1000

It is not normal, you should have a new one. Sure it is a manufacture defect. In two moths you can't damaged it by yourself.
Paint on Fender guitar last......forever

Where this guitar was made ?

The guitar was made in USA.

I send an e-mail to fender at consumerrelations@fender.com last week but still no response.

This is the only e-mail address info that I found.

If you have another one, please let me know.

Thank you!

No excuse , in USA, painting a Fender is not a rocket science. Guitar should be repaired / replaced on warranty.

+1

I'd insist on nothing less for a premium guitar commanding a premium retail price.
