Hello, I'm new to electric guitars and so I don't know much about the anatomy, but I recently bought a Jaguarillo from Guitar Center to have delivered to my house, and when it showed up, there was a weird clicking noise on the D string when it's moved, specifically shifted back on forth or strummed, along with a light ding. Besides that, the guitar sounds great. I've looked into this as best I can and as far as I can tell, the saddle of the string is shifting back and forth when the string is moved and hitting against the bridge, causing the noise. If someone can tell me if this sounds likely, or possible, or if I'm even using the right terms, and maybe tell me what a good course of action to deal with this would be, I'd really appreciate it-- I like the guitar a lot, and I'd rather not replace it. That would be the second time, as the first one had a loose piece inside.

Right on with the terms. You sound like you know what you're doing. 8)

It could be the saddle, like you say. Fender has a warranty so you could bring it to GC or check this site for another authorized repair place. If it were me, I'd try to find a guy who knows what he's doing and have him set it up the way you like it. Well worth the effort to not struggle with a poorly set up guitar.
