Can I have some opinions on it please? :)

Oh btw, it should be good for playing nirvana and other punk and grunge bands, right?

My older brother just got a '64 reissue off eBay. He got such a bloody great deal. It was an incredible buy.

He lives in Birmingham. Easy 20 minute drive from his house! It was perfect for him. The shorter scale neck he says makes it much easier for him to play, having small hands (he's 21, so small for a 21 year old). The go-faster stripes make it look like some sort of hot rod. The Mustang was always supposed to be a "student's" guitar. It's not too heavy, and unlike a Strat (as good as they are), having a lot of gain doesn't make it sound like noise when you play. So in answer to your question, it's fantastic for grunge, especially Nirvana. Kurt Cobain did use one after all. The Bridge pickup is really nice and twangy (good for songs like Heart-Shaped Box, Rape Me, About a Girl etc). The Neck pickup is really full and heavy.

All I can say really. I played a 65 in a shop a few weeks ago. It made me a much better guitar player for 5 minutes. Mustangs are great in general. I'm not sure how different a 65 and 64 reissue are, still good choice. Fully recommended.
