It required little setting up. I shaved the edges of the frets a little. and hightend the action ever so slightly so it didn't buzz. Now it's perfect.

Does your G string (third from bottom) buzz after your action adjustment? Mine does, even after I raised it a bit.

Sorry for the slow responce. I went and checked, and yes it does. So does the one above it. Both middle strings maybe not be high enough over the curvature of the fretboard perhaps?

The Jagmaster is a lovely guitar, it sounds great but is made out of crap. First of all, the tuners feel like they're plastic, and the nut is waaaay too small. The frets also are kind of sharp, but that can be adjusted.

The funny thing about the tuners is the mixed responces I've heard on them are so varied. Some say they're incredible, some say they're crap. Mine appeared to be schallers at first. Although they weren't, (obviously) they tuned like them. The frets I didn't find too bad, but to be sure I did sand the edges a little. I'm interested to know what wood it's made out of. I've heard people say they're made of plywood but I happen to know this isn't true.

There's a Squier Jagmaster down at the music center in the next town from me for $360. I was thinking of getting it at first but reconsidered since I just don't trust Squier. I played it quite a few times at the shop (its still there), and it plays decently, but I still just can't compare it to my MIM Strat.
