I have a 1962 Musicmaster that I want to restore.

It needs:

Pickguard - $28.95
Knobs - $12.00
Cloth wire - $4.00
Bridge screws -
Strap button w/screws - 15.00
Switchcraft jack - 2.50

All the rest is original except the body has been repainted graffiti yellow with a big butterfly painted on the body!

Should I do it? The guitar has a collectability index of "F" (very low) so I'm thinking I should part it out.

How does it play and sound? I'd restore it if I intended to actually play it.

Otherwise, are the parts worth more than if you restore it and sell it in one piece?
