Hey Everyone,
I have something here that might make someone very happy.
I have a New Old Stock (late 60's) Fender Coronado I body. I'm calling it new old stock (NOS) because it has never been assembled into a full guitar. It couldn't have been, it doesn't even have the input jack hole, strap pin holes or pickup mount holes drilled. I've been on the fence about building up and couldn't decide whether I wanted to go all original in parts or hot-rod (no routing or cutting) with one of my custom necks and maybe a good vintage style p-90.
Since I already have a sweet Coronado II, I think this one is gonna be for sale.
The back and sides have the original walnut nitro finish and the top must've have a blem from the factory (that's my guess as to why it made it out of the factory before completion). The top is not finished and s just natural maple.

I'm throwing this out there if there are any takers, I'm thinking ballpark $300 or so. Thanks everyone.

Arjay,
Thanks for the heads up. I certainly don't mean to commercialize this forum. I'm actually really interested in ideas about options for a Coronado build. Thanks again.
