Some of you have said your guitar goes out of tune when using the whammy bar. I happened to see this video on an older post on this site about a whammy bar set up. I was wondering if anyone has tried this on there Marauder and if yes did it work?

Since the Marauder's have the same 6-point vintage-style trem that a lot of Strat's do, the typical setup should work well. And honestly, all you need to do for any bridge/trem is just set it up properly, and you can abuse the whammy without many issues after that.

i had to post a reply to this cuz it worked so well. the one common complaint on the marauder seems to be that it loses tune with pretty much any amount of tremolo use, and mine was no different. it was espeacailly painful to me as my last guitar had a floyd. i got to the point that i was starting to avoid the trem on my marauder cuz even one minor use could really knock it outta tune.
i know alot of you guys on here could take apart a guitar in your sleep, but i've been playing over 20 yrs, and never even attempted to work on one. i have absolutly no mechanical skill whatsoever. but tonight i got brave and picked up a screwdriver, and did the adjustments in the video. i can say without a doubt that IT WORKS! not only does it keep tune a million times better, but now i can bend the notes upwards again. love it.

i strongly recommend that every marauder owner having tuning problems make this adjustment

Hi all,
my Marauder was going out of tune i the same way as others have complained of.
I haven't adjusted anything but did rub pencil graphite into all the string grooves on the nut. Worked a treat for me!
