I bought a Classic Player Jaguar from one of the big mail order houses the other day and when I received it, the guitar was the only thing in the factory sealed box. The only thing. It did have an inspection/quality control tag attached to the neck, but no other paperwork, tremolo arm, or gig bag that Fender and all the retailers mention that comes with it. Can anyone tell me how their's was packaged when they received it? Did everything come in one or two boxes?

All in one box with guitar inside the gig bag.

Give the Fender guy's a e-mail about the missing items. Deffenly pitch a $@!&*, nobody's perfict so they are likely to send the missing items. Sounds like that one got buy the packer.
My 2012 japanese Jaguar HH came with just the soft case and a tag. All of there guitars should come with a "care & feeding" owner's manual no matter what model of guitar.
I'm getting ready to add a Jag tremelo to my jag as soon as I can get a roughter Dremmel tool from a frend. Thankfully I already have the booklet so I can get the finer bits like tuning intonation exc. down right.

Classic Players came with the Std Fender Electric Instrument manual which says nothing about Jags or Jazzys. I notice that the new 50th Anniversary model comes with a manual written for Jazz and Jag.

Maybe they will start putting that one in the Classic Player pouches as well.

Musician's Friend, and their sister companies (Music123 and Guitar Center) remind me of years ago when some camera mail order houses would sell for less because they would strip the factory boxes of anything that the factory said was included. Now granted this is no big deal to me, I have plenty of guitar cases, but others who are spending their hard earned money might think it is. I don't like consumers getting ripped.
