Just picked it up tonite. 3 1/2 months wait was well worth it. Playing a short scale again will take some getting used to. Mastery Bridge is on the way and I think a PG change is in my future. Sounds great. Very stable but strings do still move a bit on the threaded saddles. If anybody has any questions I'd be happy to answer.

Cool! I got my CAR Jag on the 4th. I think it's the best guitar I've had! Will post better pics as soon as I take some.

Just got a Burgundy Mist Metallic 50th Anniversary Jag in the post yesterday.

Beautiful guitar, but I'm installing an adjustable-saddle-height Mustang bridge as soon as it gets in, I just can't stand the original Jag bridge.

However, what seems to be extra awesome about this particular instrument is that there is a "#1" on the back of the headstock -- does that mean what I think it does?

Yeah some of the first ones are hand numbered. Mine isn't :(

The fact that you have #1 is ridiculously awesome! Congrats.
