Hey guys,

Does anyone know if a 1957 Duo Sonic Body will take a new Warmoth neck?
The scales for the old duo sonics were 22.5".

The shortest scale Warmoth makes is 24". Sure, it'll bolt on OK but your guitar will never intonate.

I need some help then martian. What neck should I be getting?

Also, I tried to write to you, on this forum, in response to a previous post about an Ibanez.
Everytime I tried to post, It said the site was having problems. Anyway, I saved the entire entry. Is their anyway I can send you it in an email?? I would like you to know how it turned out.

As for this neck, I need help. What can I put on it? I need something similar to the duo sonics original neck. I would get one from online, but they are all way too expensive..
I thought warmoth can make this type of neck, no?

Here's my e-mail: haneng@ix.netcom.com

The problem is, you have an odd length neck. This means a replacement would have to be custom made and as you know, that's going to be big bucks. Even if you used a Warmoth Mustang neck, that is 24" which means you'd have to move the bridge on the Duo Sonic's body where surely, this is not an option. As to whether Warmoth would make you exactly what you need, all you can do is ask but again, IF they would do it, you're back to the big bucks again.

That's 24.75" which is Gibson scale for Fenders, still no help to you.

Either that or have one custom made where either way too, you're going to have to cough up megabucks.
