Hello everybody.

I bought my first fender guitar, a Jazzmaster Blacktop. The first week I didnt have any problem with the tremolo but after some time, the tremolo began to come loose, its been 3 weeks and now the tremolo is completely loose, in fact its come right off and when i tried to put it on, it wont stay on even if I try to tighten it. The tremolo is a non locking vintage tremolo.

I hope any of u can answer my query, Thanks :D Pardon my english

Will someone from Fender please explain why Fender does not ship the tremolo arm spring that is designed for guitars like the jag and jazzmaster? This adds, like, one cent to the price of the guitar, and the tremolo arm needs it to function properly. You clearly have a lot of people who don't understand that it is missing and end up damaging their tremolo arm assembly trying to make it work without the spring. C'mon.

are you talking about the tremelo arm itself staying in place?
If so...that particular model just snaps in.There is no spring and it does not screw on like the strats. Just push firmly on the arm until you feel it kind of click.I have no problems with mine
