Have you seen the prices of these things on eBay? I'd love a Bass VI (nothing under $5K) and an Electric XII (nothing under $3K), but my meager talent does not justify paying these lofty prices. Fender reissued the Princeton Reverb amp partly because prices in the vintage amp market made it worth pursuing.

I understand that in a pinch you could use the PRRI as your only amp and the same cannot be said for your only guitar being a XII (unless you're Roger McGuinn) or a VI (unless you're Mike Mushok or Robert Smith), but there should be a more affordable alternative to the vintage market or the Custom Shop. Maybe a Factory Special Run from Japan or Mexico?

Any love for these two classics?

I see the Steve Bailey Jazz Bass VI but that's an entirely different instrument. Maybe I'll search for a Jaguar Baritone instead.

In this opinion, the Fender XII was not an outstanding electric 12 string, but 'never been much interested in the genre.

Again, only an opinion; the Fender VI is a magnificent instrument. But it is for less than the 1/100 % of guitarists. That octave-lower thing means a lot more on a guitar than a keyboard.

An MIM VI without vibrato for $1000 street is likely doable; only a half dozen unique parts, the rest are off the shelf. Is there sufficient demand?

Probably not a large market for these and that's why I suggested a limited run.

Actually, I didn't realize until this past weekend that Fender has a new baritone guitar - the Blacktop Tele Baritone. I could add a little bari spice to my sound for less than $600. Would have preferred a Strat/Sub-sonic model, but the Tele could work for me.
