I got a brand new guitar today, a 2011 (I think) Fender Marauder. I've had my eye on it for a couple of months now. I got a fantastic guitar for the price ($336.) It plays as well or better than some expensive guitars that I've played. The Lake Placid Blue paint is beautiful and the neck is a nice tinted maple neck with a rosewood fretboard. It is made of Koto wood. The only thing that I would change on it is to add another tone knob. These first run Marauders could turn out to be quite rare, so I plan on holding onto it for a long time.

Bugo...nice guitar, how comfortable is it to play? Do you like the tone of the pickups? How is the neck shape? I love the color, and very curious as I have yet to see or play one in person.

It's very comfortable. I was afraid the frets would be too tall, but they're not. It creates several very different tones. The triplebucker sounds a lot different than the Jazzmaster pickup.
