don't know how to upload images apparently, but I got mine from Fender, came in a plain brown mailing flat folding box.

Loving my Dark Lake Placid Blue Mustang

bought mine on March 19th, registered the same day. Hope that clarifies some things.

The Fender Mustang has always been my favorite guitar. From the first time I saw one I wanted one. As soon as I got my first job I saved every cent I had and bought a 90s era MIJ 69' Sonic Blue reissue. I loved it and played the hell out of it for over a decade. Rough times forced me to sell it about 6 years ago. My heart has ached ever since for my lost guitar. When they came out with these KC models I couldn't resist. It was like being reunited with your first love again, except she got a boob job. I love this guitar!!! I have not stopped playing it since I got it! The replacing of the Mustang bridge with an adjust-o-matic bridge solves the tuning problems that the original Mustang bridge caused (If any of you have ever owned a Mustang you know that it doesn't stay in tune at all). The new bridge also eliminates the hassle that was changing your action. No more de-stringing the guitar, removing the bridge, turning the little screws, re-stringing the guitar, and then doing it all over again when you didn't get it right. You just turn the wheels at the base of the adjust-o-matic bridge and your good to go. The phase switches over the pickups don't stick out like the regular Mustangs do. They're nearly flush with the pickguard, and that means no knocking your pickups out of phase or scraping your knuckles on them when you're jamming. With the phase switches and the humbucker/single coil you can get a wide variety of sounds from more strat like sounds to telecaster and surf guitar. It sounds amazing with a fuzz pedal thanks to the humbucker. I had always wanted to throw a humbucker in my old Mustang, but never got around to it. This guitar is my absolute dream guitar. I named it Anduril because it was like my old guitar reforged and returned to me. #Reunited and it feels so good!!!!
