I see the new 50th Anniversary Jaguars on the main page. Seems that they got nearly all the modern features that the Classic Player has. But looks like the 60's bridge, bound neck, block inlays, bridge cover. No mute (won't be missed.) But the tuning keys look almost plastic. the photo won't enlarge. And of course, Made in USA.

Does anyone know when these will begin shipping?

Yeah, Buzz Stop won't fit that way. But it hasn't been a problem with the Classic Player, I am curious to see how well the bridge responds on this model.

I found a dealer that will go $25 lower but I think that is only because they already have one arm and both of my legs.

Well, that makes two that are spoken for. Mine will be LPB as well. :D
(I like how they are routed for the mute should you desire to add one later.)

Awesome. I got mine for $1593 Canadian. With tax $1800 out the door (yeah we get hosed up here). Still, not bad. Very excited!

Sounds really great! Lots of versatile sounds out of it. I'm pretty focused on surf-type music these days, so it's perfect for that.

What really struck me was the build quality. I compared it back-to-back with a new AVRI '62 and there was a big difference (at almost the same price point). The neck binding on the 50th really adds a lot, both to the looks and feel. The fretwork is great. Setup seems to be spot-on. Overall it's a really well-made guitar and I think even a bargain considering the price of the '62. It feels more like a CS guitar than a mass-produced one.

I also love the palm tree graphics on the neck mounting plate.

Great work with this one, Fender!

Those are beautiful. I would buy one if they weren't so expensive. I'd give $700-800 for one but I can't justify spending any more than that on one.

Go buy a Classic Player. Basically the same this minus B&B and it's MIM.
