How is the pu slider wired? I know that it has a 4th, series mode, but how exactly is it set up? Would it be possible to do the same with a four position toggle?

thanks!

What a fine looking guitar this Jag is. It has to be one of the greatest looking guitars ever. Johnny Marr's signature model is up there with the best. I want one but no chance until a Squier version appears or I make my own.

I've got my name on one of these. It's coming to the shop end feb/early march. I'm going to part ex an epi casino, 2005 sg faded special and a 1966 Mustang. I don't want to sell the Mustang but I don't know how else to fund the deal. As a last resort, I have a 1971 sound city head I could sell.
Does anyone know what i should hope for, for the Mustang? It's red and in very good condition.

Oh Dave I do feel for you. You resolve to sell one of your prize guitars you haven't played for some time to fund buying your latest crush. Then you get it down strum it a few times. And two hours strumming and twiddling later you have resolved to keep it. That is the difference between love and lust in a nutshell!!!

You've pretty much hit the nail on the head there, Micky.

I believe those PUPs are have their magnet polarities reversed as well, he say's that he can feel the difference in the additional string vibration.

What to do. I can buy one for £1470, new. But I've noticed the Curt Cobain ones don't really seem to hold their value, second hand. Do I wait a bit, risk not getting one, and hope to get one at a better price?

Guys,

Took delivery of my Johhny Marr Olympic White Signature yesterday - £1399 from Soundslive. As expected the guitar is beautiful! A tad bit miffed though, as the guitar came without the Johnny Marr booklet.

Another problem is the tremolo arm, I'm struggling to get the thing to fit / lock into place. Unlike my MIM Classic Player, which is screw in, this appears to be a slot in type, but no matter how hard I try to push it in, it just won't lock? The fixed tremolo arm position is supposed to be a key feature of this guitar?

Am I missing something obvious? Do I need to remove the tremolo?

His video says it uses a different bushing than the Reissue, but I haven't seen one yet.

The bushing is a nylon insert, but the arm fits loose within in.

Ran into Johnny Marr back stage after a The The gig in the UK .... very modest about his playing abilities, he ceratianly never considered himself a guitar hero .... a really nice guy.
