The slightly angled control plate looks very cool. Never seen that feature on a Tele before. :o

yeah the angled control plate was more out of necessity on the tele. Originally if had a huge 70's style pickguard and the knobs, instead 2 vol. and 2 tone, were in a row on an angle. I chose to bring that tele to more of a 60's look with a normal pickguard and since the other knobs were originally spread out kind of far I had to make that control plate. My tele control plate is about 1/2" longer than a stock one. It suited the guitar though so I decided to replicate it on the telemaster i build and make it more of a signature look for future builds. I made the plate on the telemaster as well.

Yeah, I've wired up a coil split to the tone knob. It also has a 4-way switch to give me a total of 7 pickup options. I also added a treble bleed so when I turn the volume down I don't lose my top end.

I suppose you also did the same wiring mod in your olympic white "fat" telecaster.

It's close to the same mod. The white tele has the coil split but it does not have the 4-way switch. The 4-way switch (best mod for any tele i think) is something I've done on several guitars and I wanted to give it a shot on this one. I was a little worried that it would interact with the humbucker in a weird way but it sounds great.
