Can I be any more blunt? Why, oh Lord, why does everybody keep posting about Starcasters??? There's at least four or five different topics about them on the first page!!! And, if, (and this is a HUGE if) you can tell me something good about them that doesn't make them sound so god awful, I will be your absolute best friend in the whole world!!! :D

Or maybe not, ya never know...

Well as a new owner of a Starcaster I can only give you my perspective. It is an inexpesive way for people such as me with a modest to moderate income with very limited disposable income to purchase a "name" brand guitar for my child and or myself for that matter to learn to play. The best thing about the guitar is that it is affordable for prospective and future enthusiasts.

That being said we have questions about our Fender guitars and what better place to get them than from the Fender community.

I don't need a new best friend, but I won't turn down an new aquaintance. :? :)

A waste of money. Get a Squier instead. I can't believe Fender put their name on those pieces of crap...

I got a starcaster for my 15'th birthday last year. It was my firs electric guitar and it was okay at first. I got it in a pack with an amp and accessories. After about a week of playing it something went wrong with the pickup, where the cord goes in from the amp to the guitar... well it wasn't connecting right. I wasn't rough with it or anything. I honestly couldn't even learn on it. Yesterday I got a daphne blue cyclone 2 and so far so good. It was $560.00 I only got it because my mother and brother want me to succeed at what I do. They went half and half on it. Oh... and mine doesn't say Squier on it anywhere. Just saying.
