true! Is that a bad thing in your book?? It's been modded to my liking.. Mustang bridge + buzzstop are fairly common Jazzmaster mods...

Not necessarily a "bad thing" IMO. Probably good, as a matter of fact. But those are only the mods we see. What else (if anything) has been done to the instrument?

Cheers... yup, I found those mods to be more or less necessary for use in professional situations.. gotta say I frickin love that guitar now.

I suspect that would depend on the style you play and your string gauge.
