Fred,
according to my buddy, those particular jags are trash. Now, this is comparing it to his Fender Bass VI, but I'll take his word for it. I have found a few of the BASS VI's on e-bay here and there, but outrageously priced. Schecter make a stunning "similar" guitar to the Bass Vi called the hellcat - baritone, designed in part by Robert Smith of the Cure, as he used the Bass Vi alot in his music. They are fairly priced to boot. I'd say check thos out as well.

Well, according to me, who actually owns a Baritone Jag HH, I think it's a pretty smokin' hot guitar... it Japanese made and the fit and finish is flawless. It sounds good and fits it's particular place in my guitar line-up perfectly.

Does it compare to a Custom Shop Bass VI? Nope - but it's about $2,200 less.

Frestelle - You may want to keep checking eBay in Europe and England. They pop up every now and then. You won't be able to find one on the new market, but I've seen some nice ones on eBay over the past few years. Keep looking - you'll find one.

Good luck,

I just got a used Fender jaguar baritone custom in Denmark, so it must be possible for you te get something similar in France eventually. Just be patient, i've been searching for a couple of years.

I don't think that it is possible to compare the Fender bass VI with the jaguar HH, since the Bass VI has a 30'' scale neck and best tuned E-E and the jag HH has a 27'' scale neck and is best tuned to B-B or A-A. That makes the Bass VI a 6 string bass and the Jag HH a baritone guitar. It's like comparing a mandolin to a banjo.

I've checked Ebay and there is'nt a Jag HH at the moment, but one Jag Baritone custom. The price seems a bit expensive though. I paid 400 £ for mine used.

Good luck with the search.
