I just played this at my local music stop....wow...I feel an urge of G.A.S. coming on. I have never been a black paint job man but this one was striking! Overall the guitar played very nice and felt comfortable in my hands. Now what guitars to let go to get me one...hhmmm...

I have played both the '51 and the '72 and have to admit, I like em both, but maybe the
'72 a bit better...might be time to relieve some pressure and have a gas release!

Right? I did like the fact that the '72 comes in my favorite color of surf green, I just am not a fan of the F hole. Time will tell, but i'm leanin' for the '51!

Also, I play with alot of gain or just at high volumes. Does the F hole cause feedback even with the humbuckers?

I didn't have any problem with high volume, the F hole seems pretty small compared to say a Gibson ES335...

FWIW

I recently played a '51. It was very nice, but I didn't really bond with it.
