Yes, it can be fixed !!!!!! If there is any amount of the arm sticking out of the hole, use vise-grip pliers to lock on to it and turn it out. If not, and the threaded end is broken off way down in the hole, you can use a drill (with the proper sized bit) to drill out the section that is stuck, and chase out the remaining bits with the right thread metric tap (think of a tap and die set). You can also look for a tool called an "easy out" that is used for these kinds of nasty hassles! It can be fixed with the proper tools. Next time, don't tighten the arm so much, which stretches and weakens the already cheap metal used for the arm, and be careful about how much upward pressure you apply to the arm......the bridge, even if floating a little, will quickly and suddenly bottom out on the top of the guitar. :) Good luck!!!!! P.S. .....if you wanna go crazy with a tremolo, you would be better suited with a guitar with a double-locking Floyd Rose type tremolo !!!!!!!!!

make sure that if you are getting in over your head STOP and make sure you are not causing any harm to the guitar. Don't be afraid to take it to someone if you feel uncomfortable with your work. basically they make a lot of different ways to get out of this bind but the guitar will dictate most of them. if it comes out easy with the vice grip then no problem but if it gets into the drilling with counter sync to back it out and you are not good with that kind of thing then take it to someone who is. A lot of the worst damage is done when we try to work on something we have no business working on. I am not being negative or discouraging in any way so please don't read my post that way. Main point is be careful and do your best, if you need help get it. Your guitar will be fine.
