20 years ago this year Nirvana released "Nevermind", the album that killed most of the '80's
hair bands and added the term "alternative" to music. Back in 1995, you could contact Fender directly and they would respond to inquiries about products, which is how I found out that lefty
Mustangs and Jagstangs were available, and I bought one of each. Just wondering if Fender plans on re-issuing the lefty Mustangs or Jagstangs anytime soon. Hell, I'd even take a Squier Mustang... as long as they kept the original 24" scale.

Nirvana was far from the first alternative band, and far from the first to be called such...

But even as a righty, I find it asinine that they have such limited options for left handed players. I have a couple lefty friends who play right handed solely because lefty instruments are so hard to come by.

I didn't say that Nirvana was the first "alternative" band, nor did I say that they were the first to be called that. Everyone knows the first alternative band was the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band,
but I'm sure you'll smugly deny this and bestow upon us all your keen insight and amazing musical prowess. Oh yeah, and thanks for replying with absolutely no knowledge of my
inquiry.
