I would really like a new classic player Jaguar w/o the humbuckers but want one in white. Please Fender, expand the color choice. All the surf bands I remember in the 60's had white ones so I think white when I think Jaguar.

yeah i would really buy one classic jaguar with the humbuckers if they were in ice blue metallic or lake placid blue, and also they should put the humbucker single coil switching like the new pawn shop mustang.

No sexier look for a Jaguar than a nice sunburst, IMO.

Hello Gang,
Wondering if anyone knows anything about this Japanese HH Jaguar I have. It looks like the black ones I see for sale, but it's a really odd gold/green color. I have found a couple pics online, but only in the context of a few other people asking if anyone knew anything... Is there a name for this color? How many were made? Any info would rock. Thanks!

I have a CIJ Jag as well, an S-S but with TOM instead of the Jag trem, it's a dark foresty green metal flake, no clue what the color is. I also have one of the Jag specials in what was described as "buroodo barusuto", or Blood Burst, it's a black to maroon burst.

I agree. I had an original 1964 sunburst Jaguar (pre-CBS, of course) which I got in April '64 and like an idiot, sold in the spring of 1966. In March of this year, I ordered and received a Classic Player (MIM) Jaguar, sunburst, and as I am writing this it is staring at me. I am pleased with my purchase.

A number of the "surf" bands of the 60's went the sunburst route but people seem to remember Carl Wilson (The Beach Boys) and his white '64 Jaguar.

whatever colour you like i think fender should give more colour options at least like when the american vintage series came out, i don´t know the reason they don´t. i mean this guitars are now as much apreciated as a strat or a tele or even more.

Because they don't sell=\ If they sold better in more colors, they would be offered.

didn't guitars have more options round the 90's early 2000's? and wasn't that the time guitars were cheaper?

My two favorite colors are the Sienna Sunburst and unstained wood with a maple fretboard.
I'd love a Jazzmaster or Jag CP HH in natural wood.
