Does anyone know how many Flame Guitars were manufactured? They were made ~1984. I have heard 650 of them, but I am not sure of that. I have one, unmodified. It is the Flame, and it is the most basic one. Sorry if this is a repeat topic, but searching the message database on flame gets about 1000 hits.

These guitars became the basis for the Robben Ford signature models in 1995.

Robben doesn't use the Esprit and the Flame anymore. He endorses the custom creations built for him by former Senior Master Builder Gene Baker, founder and actual owner of Baker Guitars.

Robben Ford signature models were built by Greg Fessler.

Included on the series was this beautiful cherry sunburst Custom Ultra FM featuring an attractive flamed maple top.

Robben uses other cool axes, including a vintage white rosewood-neck Telecaster (shown below) and a 2-tone burst maple-neck Strat.
