Aside from the 51 these are useless, come on fender cant we get more variations on the strat and tele instead of more of these weird guitars. Rock on

I quite like the Mustang, even the '72. I'm not a big fan of the '51. Anyways I don't think $799 is a huge price tag either.

I just saw these and i really like the blue mustang, but i wish they made a cross between a strat and tele, a strat body but tele pickups and ahard tail, also no contoured body flat like the tele. or a mustang tele mix

I think that they are neat, because they are so ugly. I don't think these guitars are suited for the run of the mill strat player. They are for people who want something different, something that isn't what you'd expect from a Fender.

Why not releasing a pawnshop JagStang with competition racing stripes, a Filtertron humbucker in the bridge and a Hilotron single-coil at the neck? A Nirvana-inspired guitar with a hint of Gretsch flavours on it.

i don't think they'll bring back the jagstang ever again... if they do though i won't say i won't buy it ;)

everyone says the tone on the jagstang sucks...for that reason i want it, to see what all the fuss is about. i'm sure its a great guitar, just for playing styles other than grunge, which people dont see

Until I see one with my own eyes, I am still treating them as an April fools joke. Come one Fender, releasing a crazy line like this on April 1st?

I think the Sunburst 72 is absolutely beautiful. If I didn't already have a 72RI Thinline Tele Deluxe I would be all over it.

After a few subtle mods in hardware/pickups and some refinements on fretting and nut, I love my blonde Squier 51.

It is the spitting image of the new Fender version, and I'd be happy indeed to make a matched pair by buying the Fender 51.

I'm thinking maybe not big sellers - buy when they're discounted. Hope I don't get caught out like I was with the Squier Esprit..

I had a '64 mustang long ago. Sold it to my brother. He still has it and had the exact same pickup mod done. I love the pawn shop Mustang. It is number 2 on my to buy list.
